Primus and the Chocolate Factory
Primus and the Chocolate Factory reflects the 1971 movie's soundtrack like a funhouse mirror. The formerly endearing "Pure Imagination" becomes a teetering carnival ride, while "Golden Ticket" is a twisted march led by Claypool's hammered bass. In Primus' hands, the benevolent chocolatier of "Candy Man" is transformed into a raving Bellevue inmate.
